7th response

Agba was in the room of the king Salten. The other five horeboys's face was frozened with fear but Agba wasn't his face lips was smileing because he thought that king saltan's face is looks like camel. Then Salten started to talk, he said that he will give a six best stallion-good horse to the Louis ⅨⅤ who was the king of the france in that time and also six horse boys will accompany with those six horse to take care of it. Agba was so excited when he heard that, he thought that it will be great for him and his horse to go to France.
While King Salten drink a tea Salten get interest with Agba because he thought that King of the france is about same age as Agba. So salten asked Agba "how old are you?". But No answer come out Agba was trying to say something but no sound came out. Then Signor achmet said to Saltan that "he has no power of speaking. He can talk by only his hands" Which means that Agba is mute.

-I was surprised when I found out that Agba is mute because until this chapter I didn't notice that Agba is Agba. how can you notice that Agba is mute if there is a dialogue spoken by Agba? and how can you noticed that acutually those things was told by hands? I'm sure that nobody could find out that he is a mute until this chapter.
And I also think that "mute" is key words for this story because it makes the protagonist differet from others. It makes him special. May be this charcteristic would cause a big problem in later of the story.

How has this fact changed your attitude toward this character? Being mute presents obstacles, but spoken words are but on form of communication, right? I imagine that Agba is a good listener, that he is more observant than the average person. In fact, you might argue that this "handicap" gives him an advantage over his peers.
