Signor Achmet was talikng with King Louis XV and Duke. Duke didn't like the way Signor talks so he got really mad with Sigonor. Now he started to say bad things about the horses that Signor brought from Morocco. Agba couldn't understand the langusage they spoke but he noticed that those things are bad words so he was frustrated with Duke. Then Duke saw Sham the best horse in Morocco. He was teasing Sham that he is a dirty sand horse. Agba was about to go to hit Duke but he didn't do that because Duke was already kicked by Sham. He screamed for painful and roll around the ground.
In 5th respond I made a hypothesis that if the horse had grown up with human parents they would understand more about people. I think my hypothesis was right at least in this book because Sham understand more about human. He could notice the bad words and what should he do to people who says tthese things. I think He learned those things from his father Agba.

After the long journey Agba and horses were arrived at the Versailes. Soon after they arrived they went to the royal stable to give the horse to the king of the France. But at there Agba has to wait for long time because the adviser of the king wasn't there. The adviser Monsieur Le Duc was in the salon taking care of his wig. He doesn't care who ever arrived at France until he noticed that those horseboys are King Saltan's servant. Duc runback to the palace and said to youg king to meet horseboys.
When Agba saw a King Louis XV he was surprised because the king was about sama age as Agba. Agba felt impresive with the King and he tried to show respect to the King but he laughed at him. Because he thought that the King's clothes is looks like a turtle's shell.
From this chapter I learned that Agba likes to compare the King with the other Kind of animal. When He first time met King Saltan the King of Morocco he thought that Saltin looks like a sheep because he has a think bear which looks like a Sheep's wool. And this time he said that the King Louis is like a turtle because he wear a thick grean clothes. I think he has really good imagination. I can't compere people with animal.

At the fron of the city gate Salten gave a bag to Agba and he told Agba to protect a bag. The bag is a great power amulet it will prevent and cure the bite from scorpion and protect the stallion from evil spirit. Then Saltan went back to the palace and Agba's journey started. they run throgh the rain water, blessed of Allah. Run through the hills of Atlas mountains. Run through green valleys and regions of plains. Finally they arrivaled at port Tangier.
At first I'd like to say that I was so disaapointed with this book. I thought that there would be a adventure in Agba's journey but actually author just wrote journey part for 2pages. It has only short discription of what happened during Agba's journey. I was so disappointed with it.
How ever the word "Amulet" reminds me of Japanese talisman. In japan there is many kinds of talis man sell in temple. And if we keep put on it, it will give us a fortune, lackness, intelligence etc. I'm not sure if there is a talisman in US or not but if there is one I'd like to know about it.

A day of the journeyt came, Agba and other horse boys went to the palace to see Saltan. In front of there was a thousands of the soldiers making a line and on the of the head of the line there is a Saltan a King of the Alabs road on the horse. Saltan led the hors boys and their horses join in the line then they started a march to the port. All of the people in they city bowed when Saltan and his soldiers go through the city. Agba thought that people didn't bow to show rispect to their King they bowed to protect them selves. They knew that people who didn't bow to King Salton would be killed by his brutal soldiers.
This chapter makes me think about leader ship. Thai King and King Saltan have completely different relationship between their nation. King Saltan ruled the country with millitary power. So people in his country afraid of him and all the people try to not concern with him. In Thai land King doesn't have power to control everything in the country but he still able to make big effect in the country by his word. I think thta's because he has a good relationship with his nation. When he was young he went around his country to help poor people and try to make better country. That's why every people in his country loves him and show great respect to him. So that he could make an effect to the country even though there is a laws and government.
To be a good leader the thing you need is not power. Reliance from the team member or nations is the thing you need. That's what I think about leadership

After Agba went back to the stall Signor Achmet told him to measure the horse's kneck to find out the best stallion in the stall. Agba measured each horse with happy smile because he already knew that Sham his horse will be the best one. And His thought was right Sham was the one which has the longest kneck . So Signor chose Sham to go to the France with Agba.
Agba counldn't slept that night because his mind was full of excitement about going to the France with Sham. he kept jumping down from his hammock and walking around his room.
I have a similar experience with Agba. When I was in elementary school there was the night I coldn't slpet for whole night. that was the night before Weak with out wall. My mind was full of excitement like as Agba so I never felt sleepy that night. I kept wakeing up until morning and go to the Weak with out wall with tired and sleepy body. Then I got shick in the first night of Weak with out wall so I couldn't go out for 2nd day! That day teach me the importance of sleeping.

Agba was in the room of the king Salten. The other five horeboys's face was frozened with fear but Agba wasn't his face lips was smileing because he thought that king saltan's face is looks like camel. Then Salten started to talk, he said that he will give a six best stallion-good horse to the Louis ⅨⅤ who was the king of the france in that time and also six horse boys will accompany with those six horse to take care of it. Agba was so excited when he heard that, he thought that it will be great for him and his horse to go to France.
While King Salten drink a tea Salten get interest with Agba because he thought that King of the france is about same age as Agba. So salten asked Agba "how old are you?". But No answer come out Agba was trying to say something but no sound came out. Then Signor achmet said to Saltan that "he has no power of speaking. He can talk by only his hands" Which means that Agba is mute.
-I was surprised when I found out that Agba is mute because until this chapter I didn't notice that Agba is Agba. how can you notice that Agba is mute if there is a dialogue spoken by Agba? and how can you noticed that acutually those things was told by hands? I'm sure that nobody could find out that he is a mute until this chapter.
And I also think that "mute" is key words for this story because it makes the protagonist differet from others. It makes him special. May be this charcteristic would cause a big problem in later of the story.

I had difficulties with writing comment on my partner’s blog. I really hate the word verification, sometimes it’s really difficult to read the letters so its makes me not able to post the comment. I couldn’t understand the purpose to have word verification. If they get rid of it, it will be easier to post the comment.
I think I did good job on writing the reading response on my blog but I could improve it even better. I like to write reading response which connects to my experience but those experiences were explained briefly and I think its makes my audience confuses a little bit. So next time I will try to write it in more detail.
As a result I would say that I’d like to continue on blogging. I think it’s much easier than doing it on the paper and it’s also save the papers too. It’s good for our nature. So if we have to do the reading response I want to do it on the blog

Two years passed. Sham grew strong and fast as the promise of white spot. Agba are having a great time with Sham. He went to work with Sham every day and after the work he play a horse race with other horse boys and he always won a first place. One day Sultan Mulai Ismel who is a emperor of Morocco invited six horse boys to his royal palace. Agba didn’t want to go to the palace because Sultan is known as evil ruler. He could kill hundreds of his slaves just for the test of new saber and he could destroyed a village to test a power of his muskets. Agba was so worried to be killed but he couldn’t disobey the emperor’s command so he had to go to the palace.
I think next chapter is going to be about the horse racing competition. The reason that emperor invited the horse boys must be because he wants to see the big horse racing for sure. In the beginning of the chapter it mention about the horse racing which horse boys always playing. I think that was a foreshadowing of what will happen in next few chapters.

Agba run back to the Sham’s stall with a camel’s milk. Sham was thin and looked sick. Agba quickly poured the milk into the cup and gave it to Sham. Sham drunk the milk like a little baby and that led Agba to the decision. Agba decided to be Sham’s father and he will take care of him instead of his mother. From that day Agba and Sham are staying together all the time.
I’m curious about one thing. If the baby horse has been brought up with a human parent, will it become more like human or not? I’ve heard the story of the wolf boy. About the year of 1997 Japanese police has discovered a boy who had brought up by wolf in north part of the Japan. And he was behaved and thought like a wolf. When the police are trying to catch him he barked at the police and jumped on them. So certain of the police were injured.
According to the psychologist, they said that it’s because of the environment he had grown up. He learned what to do and what think from the wolf so he became like a wolf.
So if this theory is true Sham must be more like a human.

Agba told a Signor Achmet-Cheaf of the grooms, to come to see the foal with a white spot on the heel. They went into the stall with excitement but when Sigonr saw the foal his face frozen in horror then he cried "The Wheat ear!".On the chest of the foal there is the shape like a wheat and it's the symbol of the evil sprits. The foal has both bad and good symbol on its body. Signor Achmet hope the good symbol will beat the bad symbol but a few days later the mare of the little foal was died. Sigonr said that the foal will die for the hunger. Agba was shocked with that so he run out of the town tried to run way from this problem. He run as fast as possible to the city of Meknes. At there he saw an Arab working with camel then one thought came to the Agba's head. "Camel's milk can be use for feeding a horse". Then He run to Arab man and get some camel mik from him.
"People run away from the problem when they don't know the way to solve it". That's what I thought when I read this chapter. Runing away from the problem is the worst thing to do. It doesn't make anything better it just make you weaker. So we shouldn't running away from the problem.

A time of birth came. A mare has moved in to the stoll and get ready for bear. Agba was sitting besides to a mare, He spend whole night with a mare hopeing it will be a easy birth. When he woke up a birth was over and there is a tiny foal sleeping next to a mare. Agba was saprised with that tiny foal because it has a white spot on his hind feel. A white on hind feel is a emblem of swiftness. Agba was so grad to seen that horse so he hold him up on his arm. Then the early sunlight shone to a float and it makes his coat looked like a red-gold. So he named a float "Sham", the Arabic word for sun.
When Agba named a float Sham, It's makes me curious about the meaning of my name "Eisuke". A name must have a meaning like a Sham. So I asked my father for the meaning of my name. Then he said that "Eisuke" is mean a smartest parson. When I heard that I felt so sorry with my father because I couldn't be a smart parson like as what he expected me to be.

This chapter takes place during a month of Ramadan. In this time Mohammedans can't eat and drink anythink dawn before sunrise untill the moment after sunset. It reaminds me of fast day of Buddhism. and my mother always joined this event.I'm stiil not sure why she did that. I haven't seen any benefits from joining this event. Then why she did it? If there is a answer I want to know.

First chapter
I read the first chapter of “King of the Wind”. This chapter is like a prologue of the story. It just introduced about horse race in Canada. But I noticed that the horse race is the foreshadowing of what will happen next in the story. So I read this chapter twice to make sure that I perfectly understood the information of horse race.
When I saw the ward horse race it’s reminds me of one of my friend that I met in UK. His name is Yasu, he was 25years old when I met him and his dream is to become the horse breaker. I still remember the night that he told me his future dream. He told that his father is great horse breaker and he wants to belike him. To be like his father he needs more knowledge about horses so he decided to go over the world to study more about horses. And That’s the reason why he came to study English in UK. I felt impressive with his future plan but also envy. He has a big goal and he knew what to do to achieve the goal but I didn’t have any thing like that in that time. I had no dream and goals so his words made me ashamed. In that day I learned the importance and goodness of future dream.
